The AFI announces its Top 10 for 2006 in film and TV

The Award Season has officially begun. In the first of what will seem like an endless series of "Best of" lists and award nominations, the American Film Institute has announced its seventh annual top 10 list. The AFI film jury has selected 10 movies (in no particular order) which they deem the best of 2006. Similarly, the AFI television jury has picked 10 TV shows or made-for-TV movies (again in no particular order) for their greatest of the year.
